ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company is excited to announce its inclusion to the 2017 Top Franchises for Veterans Ranking by Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500. ASP is ranked number 60 of the top 150 franchises offering incentives and other programs to help veterans become franchisees.

The ASP Veteran Program is a nationwide program specifically geared to award an America’s Swimming Pool Company franchise to one qualified military veteran each year. Since 2015, ASP has accepted a new batch of applications each year for the annual ASP Veteran Program. Any U.S. military veteran is qualified to enter the nationwide competition, which includes written essays and one-on-one interviews at the Macon, Georgia headquarters. Each year, ASP waives the franchise fee for the veteran who is selected as the winner – an average value of more than $65,000 (actual value varies by market). In 2015, the franchising team set out to form a veteran program franchise giveaway as a way to honor our nation’s heroes. Each year ASP will award one franchise to a qualified military veteran on Veterans Day. In addition to this exclusive giveaway, all qualified veterans who purchase a franchise receive a 15% discount on the initial franchise fee.

For 11 days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m, franchisees attend ASP’s Pool School on its campus in Macon, which features 14 working pools that have every kind of pool equipment conceivable.
At Pool School, in addition to the hands-on maintenance training, franchisees receive instruction in every aspect of running a business from marketing to billing to running QuickBooks.
Along with a local marketing team, the company has a national PR firm that supports franchisees, plus staff at headquarters who handle technical questions from franchisees throughout the day.
