Stewart Vernon, Founder and CEO of ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company, always knew he wanted to start a business. As a young entrepreneur, Stewart was always looking for ways to provide better services for those in need. In 2002, the semester before his college graduation, Stewart developed a business plan for a pool cleaning and repair business. His vision was to provide high-quality pool service at a reasonable price. After graduation, Stewart started a small pool service business in his hometown by searching for homes with pools in his area and directly marketing to each pool owner. His operation grew quickly and by 2005, Stewart explored the idea of franchising the business. He designed a franchise business model with low barriers to entry in mind to quickly fill a void in the swimming pool service industry. Today, the ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company franchise has locations serving over 400 cities in 20 states across the nation.
